Strategic Framework 2016 (download full version)
The overall vision and underlying mission of the AEOA Strategic Framework 2016 is to enable the Association to contribute to the management, integration and on-going development of the adult education and skills sector in Ireland. The vision and mission of the AEOA are supported by Three Thematic Pillars:
These pillars articulate the Association's strategic priorities and the processes through which the stated outcomes can be achieved over the next five years.
The purpose of the Framework is to guide the formulation of annual AEOA action plans, which will support the Association and enable it to contribute constructively to the national adult learning and skills agenda. Furthermore, the AEOA Strategic Framework will help to structure debate between the AEOA and other relevant departments, organisations, agencies and practitioners, in relation to the management, integration and on-going development of the Adult Education and Skills Sector.

By focusing on these three inter-dependant pillars of activity, the Adult Education Officers' Association seeks to build the capability of the Association and its members in order to contribute positively to the national adult learning and skills agenda.
